Almost three years ago you sent me some information about the Braxton family, in particular the name (Lucinda Love) of the wife of Thomas, son of Wi;;iam Braxton and Mary Lindley. A few days ago I found a farmer Thomas Braxton, with wife Lusinda, in the 1880 Census for Dukedom, Weakley County, Tennessee. Their ages are both given as 70 and were both born, together with their parents, in North Carolina. In the same household are given Sarah T., Wesley M., and Theodore P. Rodgers. Sarah's relationship to Thomas is not given, but the others are listed as Son (presumably of Sarah). Sarah was given as born in Alabama of North Carolina parents; the other two (who appear to be twins), aged 27, were born in Illinois their father in Tennessee and their mother in Alabama.
I wonder if this could be the same Thomas. I would be glad of any thoughts or information on this question.
