III Michael Brown, of Hanover, died April 1785 leaving a wife Anna, and children. i Michael, ii Andrew, iii Margaret married Nicholas Castle, iv Molly married Henry Miller, v. Eve married John Weaver, Vi. Mary married Frederick Leonard, vii. Elizabeth, viii Dorotheas, ix. Christopel x. Katharine Bickle

IV George Brown of Heidelberg, died prior to 1800 leaving a wife Susanna, who in 1805 was the wife of Christian Seibert, and children i. George, ii. Catharine, iii John. iv. Adam, v. Michael, vi. Polly

V. John Brown, of Bethel, died 1787, leaving a wife, Eve, and children; i. Vincent. ii Rachael, iii. Barbara Moyer

Christian Brown, ancestor of this family settled in Cedar Creek. His orgin was German, spelled the name Braun. He had 2 sons John Adam and Christian

John Adam was born May 18, 1738, died March 14, 1806. He moved from Cedar Creek about 1760 and settled in Nazareth township nee Lehigh Co. He is buried at Dryland Church. His wife juliana Catharine. Children; Jacob 1763, Anna Catharine, 1764, died 1837 married Michael Spengler and had 7 children, John 1766, Margaret 1769 married Henry Sensenbach. Anna Barbara, died young. Magdalena married Henry Gross, John Adam born 1777, Eva Barbara 1779 married Philip Walker, David born 1780, Elizabeth born 1783 married George Deily, Abraham 1785. Salome died 1787 died young

John Adam s/o John Adam, born 1777 in Nazareth, died 1853 in North Whitehall. He married in 1800 to Margaret Spait, d/o John and Anna Maria Spait. She was born 1775 and died 1853. They are buried in Egypt cemetery. They had 12 children, among them were Paul, Isaac, lydia and Daniel.

Paul was born Feb 24, 1807 died Aug 1877. He married Maria, d/o John Peter and Elizabeth (Desler) Woting. She was born Aug 21, 1809, and died Jan 27, 1883. Her father was the son of Nicholas Wotring, who was married May 1769 to Margaret Frantz, who in Sept 1757 when a girl of 12 was captured by Indians and lived 7 years in captivity. Paul Brown had 7 children, Elizabeth 1832, Samuel A., Stephen P., Kitty Ann, 1837, Dr. Lewis R., deceased of Elizabeth, NJ born 1839. P. Franklin of Allentown, born 1841, Guy P. Ray S., Hiram E.

Samuel A., was born Oct 2, 1834. He died April 29, 1899. He married in 1868 to Amanda M., d/o Stephen and Mary M. (Ruch) Graff, of Battietsville. no children

Stephen P., son Paul, was born July 19, 1835 in N. Whitehall. In 1859 he married Elemina Ruck, d/o Thomas and Lovina (Troxell) Ruch. Children; Hiram died a baby, Wilson P., died a baby, Lizzie died at 3, Edward S., born 1864 died 1907, Laura C., Anna C., and Elmer

Elmer J., was born in Allentwon April 17, 1873. No mention of marriage

Brown, Christian, 2nd son of Christian and Angenisa Catharine was born Dec 8, 1740. He settled at Nazarreth, married Oct 4, 1762 to Anna Maria Lawall, who was born Aug 10, 1742 and died March 16, 1817, d/o John Michael Lawall, born 1716 and died 1796 and his wife Maria Sibilas, born 1718, died 1784. Christian Brown died Sept 27, 1821, aged 80. He and his wife are buried at Hecktown. They had 10 children.
