Bethlehem-Buried Braun, Thomas Otto, the cloth weavers son, 1803 Braum, Peter (Brown) 1726-1800, born at Breslau, Selesia, a nail-smith, came to America in 1743, and 3 years later joined the Moravian Church. After severing in the schools of Fredericktown, Oley, Macungy, Bethlehem and Nazareth. He married Barbara Meyer and began to assist in ministerial work, until 1769 he was ordained a Deacon and called to the mission in Antigua, W.I. He continued the mission service until 1791. His 1st wife died in 1771. He married 2nd to B.F. Gottlich, a son Daniel, also a missionary in Jamacia, W.I. Braun, Gottlied, 1760-1825 born at Nazareth, cloth weaver, married Rebecca Otto Braun, Rebecca nee Otto, 1765-1828 born at Bethlehemm and wife of Gottlieb Braun and had 3 sons and 3 daughters Braun, Fredericka 1800-01 d/o Gottlieb Braun, Bibiana Fredericka, nee Pletscher, 1725-1807, from Ebersdorf, Germany. She married 1st to missionary, Gottlich who died 1771 in St. Croix, W.I.. In 1772 she became the wife of Peter Braun, who died 1800 Braun, Anna Catharine Fredericka nee Unger 1772-1820, d/o Rev. Frederick Unger in Phila. IN 1801 she married Rev Nathanel Braun of Hebron and on Staton Island, who died 1813. Two daus. Charlotte and Caroline suvive. Brown, Anna Caroline, d/o Rev. Nathanel of Staton Island. 1805-1874 Wiesinger, Barbara, nee Knecht 1735-1894 from the Palatinate She was accompained by her uncle to St. Kitts. W.I. where she married her 2nd husband, Brown, and Englisman. They came to this county. Her husband died at Hebron. In 1772 she married her 3rd husband, Abraham Wiesinger, who died in 1790. After residing for ten years with a married daughter at Hope, she returned to the Widow's Home. Notify Administrator about this message?
