I am looking for information on my great-grandmother.
Her maiden name was Fehr. I don't know the first
name. She married a man named Braun, maybe John or
Jacob. They had a girl Helena (my grandmother), and a
son Peter. Peter died after a war (WW1?) from lung
problems, maybe gassing in the war or tuberculosis.
After My Great-grandmother died Mr. Braun remarried
and had a son named Herman. The family was in the
Manitoba area of Canada about the 1870s. They came
from South Russia, from the Mennonite colonies.
Any iformation you have would be appreciated. Laura
