The big acadian Brault gathering happens every 5 years (1994 - New Brunswick first time; 1999 - Louisiana) and next one will be in 2004 and will be held in Nova Scotia, the craddle of Acadia where the first colonists arrived in 1604.
There is another gathering that is done every four years (although I have never been yet) and the next one will be this summer in August 2000 in Neguac, NEW BRUNSWICK]. The reference for the information was given on the Breaux du Monde web page:
