I am searching for my ggrandfather's parents. His name is James Edward Bratt (b. May 1899). His mother was Married to a John COLEMAN and he was noted as his stepfather, in the 1910 census. His father must have died very young, or he never knew him, but he DID have his last name.
I cannot find him on the 1900 census, but have found his wife as an infant.
