I have a little information on your William Bratcher that may be of some use.
William Frederick Bratcher birth registered in Newton Abbot 4Q 1878, Volume number 5b, page 166. Death registered, at age of 74, in Newton Abbot 2Q 1953, Vol 7b, page 481. Married Alice Maud Lamble, marriage registered 1Q 1902 at Newton Abbot, Vol 5b, page 221. Her birth was registered 2Q 1878, in Newton Abbot Vol 5b. page 154. Her death was registered, at the age of 83, in Devon Central District 2Q 1961, Vol 7a, page 341.
There children where Ernest William birth registered in Newton Abbot 3Q 1904, Vol 5b, page 124. Married Edith Annie Bolt, marriage registered in Okehampton 2Q 1930, Vol 5b, page 965. her birth was registered in Okehampton 1Q 1902, Vol 5b, page 344. They had 2 children that I know of, Allan, birth registered 3Q 1931 in Exeter, Vol 5b, page 80 and Colin, birth registered in Newton Abbot 4Q 1934, Vol 5b, page 156. Ernests death was registered in Newton Abbot, at the age of 56, 4Q 1960, Vol 7a, page 569.
The second son was Norman Henry birth registered in Newton Abbot 1Q 1908, Vol 5b, page 123. Married Vera Hingson, marriage registered in Newton Abbot 2Q 1930, Vol 5b, page 353. Her birth was registered in Newton Abbot 2Q 1908, Vol 5b, page 126a. I know of no children. Normans death was registered in Newton Abbot, 2Q 1957, Vol 7a, page 459, at the age of 49.
