Re. AR BRATCHER enlistments in Civil War:

There were two Eli J. Bratcher enlistments on 27 Oct. 1861 at Pocahontas, AR. One was listed as "SR." and one as "JR." Amos J. Bratcher enlisted at Pocahontas, AR on the same date.

It appears that Eli SR. was "Duke", b. 1828. and Eli JR. was Allen and Caroline's son, b. 1845, and brother of Amos J.

Who was BRATCHER, Eli J. Pvt., who enlisted 12 Jul 1862 at Smithfield, AR?
