FYI, did William Fields or anyone else in BRASWELL or BRACEWELL research ever notice that RICHARD BRACEWELL II (JR) (BRASSWELL) married to ELEANOR died by 1725 making the CARVER CONNECTION impossible? I find that the RICHARD BRASWELL who took up with ANN CARVER was likely the son of WILLIAM BRASSWELL because of the WHITE OAK SWAMP land mentioned by RICHARD BRASWELL to his CARVER KIDS in 1747. William BRASSWELL acquired this WHITE OAK SWAMP land on the NS of the Moratuck RIVER from GEORGE SMITH around 1720. Seems to be that William BRASSWELL is likely the father of RICHARD BRASSWELL that took up with Ann Carver instead of a DEAD Richard BRACEWELL. Just wondering................
