BRASSFIELD-BRASFIELD GENEALOGIES BOOK

I also have the McAllister Book on the Brasfield/Brassfield Geneologies. It actually belongs to my father who is listed in the book - Elvis John Brassfield. (My brothers are also but not myself as I was born the year it was published). The McAllisters were interested in the Brassfield Geneology as Mrs McAllister was a Brassfield before her marriage. The book is no longer in print and quite rare. (only 400 copies ever printed)How did you get your copy and do you know of any others that may be available through estates?Typically once a family gets a book they pass it down through the family.I have found one listed in the Reference Section of the New York Public Library. My family is from the lineage of Edward Brassfield - one of the three original brothers listed in the book (George, Edward and Joseph Leonard).I have tried to trace back to England but haven't had any luck making contacts in the UK.Hopefully someday I'll be able to travel there and do more research.
I am continually interested in the Brasfield/Brassfield histories.
