I really can't say if our families are directly related or not, buts there's always the chance. I really know so little about the Brazel line.

Apparently the name has been spelled in almost every way imaginable: Braswell, Brazzel, Brassel, Brazil, Bracewell, to name just a few, and that makes for a difficult paper trail.

The given names that occur a lot in my line are Benjamin (Ben), and William (Will). My line is also married into the Yelverton family of Stewart County, GA
