Searching for ancestors/descendents of Johanna Brassel, born June 1, 1869 in Hoboken, New Jersey. Her parents were Michael Brassel (b. 10/18/1837) and Mary Monahan. Both parents were born in Ireland. Shortly after her birth, the family moved to Illinois, then perhaps Wisconsin, and finally Michigan.
Johanna married James H. Hogan (11/10/1857 - 1/4/1929). They lived in Menominee, Michigan and had a large family. Johanna (Brassel) Hogan died on February 17, 1947. She is buried in Menominee, Mi.
