I am looking for family of Isabelle BRAZEL/BRASSEL Steele who was born in IL (location unknown) 1804-1805 and died Aft. 1880 in Madison Co., TX. Isabelle raised horses, so she went to TX to buy land, because there she could get a lot of acreage for a reasonable price. I'm not sure if she had family there or not. She was widowed when she left IL. Isabelle had two children that I know of: John Robert Steele (1835-1917) and Clarissa Isabelle Steele Malone (1840-1913), both died in Madison Co., TX.
