Seeking descendents of Nathan & Elizabeth Brassell of Jefferson Co., GA. They had the following known children #1 Elias Brassel, born abt 1806 (listed in the 1840 & 1850 Washington Co., GA Census)
#2 Kindred Brassel, born abt 1802 (listed in the 1850 Jefferson Co., GA census & in the 1860 Richmond Co., GA census, and
#3 William Brassel, born 1800-1810 in Jefferson Co., GA,
#4 James Littleton Brassel, born abat 1807 & married Lintillis Haynes. (listed in several Jefferson Co., GA census records.
#5 Rebecca Brassel, born aft 1807
#6 Nathan Brasell/Braswell, born March 13, 1797.- moved to Sumter Co., GA.
My ancestor was the oldest brother: Benjamin, born abt 1790, married Mary Ann Price in 1808 in Jefferson Co. (her brother may have been Edmond Price who married Eleanor Brassell in 1811 in Jefferson Co. - Ellenor may be another daughter of Nathan & Elizabeth. Both Benjamin Brassell and Edmond Price moved to Perry Co., AL.)
