Just getting into this genealogy myself. My ancestors were Brassfield's from Whitley Co. KY as well. Surely there is a connection somwhere. I can trace back to Ambrose Addison Brassfield, born in Whitley Co. in the 1860's. His son, Herbert Brassfield, also Whitley Co., was born in early 1890's. Herbert was my great-grandfather. Does this help or sound familar to anyone? I'd really like to find out more about Ambrose Addison and/or any of
family.
