I noticed on the census records that on one Lewis states he was born in AL and in another in GA. Do you know which one. I saw that his father was born in NC, but there are Bran??? lines that go NC>GA> and another that goes NC>TN>AL both lines go through Arkansas. The NC>TN>Jackson Co.,AL then either back to TN or on through AR to TX is my husbands. Oh was Lewis's wife an Adair? I noticed in the 1860 census that a daughter of the Adair family living next door to Lewis was also named Artimissa~Diane
