I believe I am related to Bevage or Beveridge B. Branam/Branham. He may be my grandfather's grandfather. My grandfather was James Benjamin Ward b. 1857 in TN. He had a brother by the name of Jesse Jameson. It maybe that one of Beveridge's daughter's was my great grandmother.
According to the 1960 census Bevage Branham was 77 years old and was born in VA. He lived in Gallatin (listed as his post office) District 5, Sumner, TN. Listed with him are the following. Elizabeth 56, Daniel 21, Lucinda 20, Logan 15 and Calvin 12. My grandfather's mother would have been an older daughter than is shown in this census.
The older daughter's names (my great grandmother) may be Allexandra born May 2,1828, Maryan born Oct 27,1829 or Martha Melveny born Sept 11, 1835.
