We now have 3 Branams, two of which lines are descended from Benjamin Branam 1747Surry-Stokes, NC, 3 Brannon's two of which believe they are from the Caron Brannon line, 2 Brannan's one of which is a Brannon match, and 1 Branum. We hope with more participants to be able to sort out these Bran??? lines.
The Branam and Variant Spellings DNA Project through Rootsweb is coming along. As those of you who have been researching these Bran???families know, many of the lines go back to the early Branham and Brannons. We are hoping if we get a couple of donors from each group we will be able to help sort out some of these difficult to trace lines.
