HI Cindy,

I had been going by A.J. Branum's age on his death notice and that I knew he was born in AL. Later I found he was born in 1847 not 1836 and have connected with his brother's family. But I can tell you I found my A.J. Branam's father, as William Branham, Wm. Brandon, and William Branon in the 1850, 1860 and 1870 census. Then I was just in touch with a girl who said her Branum married an Branam but in the 1930 census I found him under Brannin. These Bran??? are so hard to research. Which is why I started the Branam Surname DNA Project. It is through Family Tree DNA and the DNA is processed by the U. of Arizona. ~Diane
