William Cephus Branstetter was the son of Nathaniel and Elizabeth White. He and Nathaniel's brother William(m Eliza Maggart) came to Indiana in the early 1850's. Willian settled in northern Clinton County and Nathaniel ended up in Tippecanoe Co. Both were sons of Daniel(m Christina Bowman) and born in Clark Co. OH.
