I have found information that Johann Friedrich b1724 was the son of Johann Michael Brandstetter (born abt 1690 in Achen Germany) and Maria Katharina Gampher (married Jan 25, 1717/18 in Germany)Her parents were Johannes Gampfer & Marie Stegner.

Also Johann Michael was the son of Andrea Brandstetter born before 1675 in Germany

I found another bit of info before Johann F. came to America he had been a captain in the German Army and was a body guard to Emperor Joseph. His comission dated to 1756.
