Dear Ron Smith,
Mary Branson Caudill is my aunt. I have a picture of her standing with her brothers,sister, and grandpa Hizakiah(Hizzie,H.B.,Pony)in front of the homeplace at the mouth of Pratt Branch,Letcher,Ky(near Blacky,Ky.)The picture was taken in 1899 and Mary was only 4 years old in this picture. I have another family group picture with her at 6 years old taken in 1901 which is much clearer. Grandpa Hizakiah is buried near the home place in The Branson Cemetary where his father Leonard(killed during the Civil War) is also buried. Mary's mother Sarah Callahan Branson,as well as her grandmother Elizabeth Brashear Branson,(wife of Leonard is buried.)
