Sallie/Salley Branson was married to Rufus Clark according to their son William Bradley Clark's death cert. 16 Feb 1943. Sallie was born in Harlan Co. and died between 1904 and 1910. She indicated on the 1900 Census for Harlan Co. (Upper and Lower Poor Fork) that she was born Dec 1864 in KY. Children in 1900 are: Bradley (William Bradley), Berley C., Butler, Beatress(Beatrice). Additional child Sampson was 6 on the 1910 census and Sallie is not with the family. Rufus indicates on 1930 Census he is a widower. I cannot find when he died either, not on the 1930 census in KY. I helping a friend with her genie. She is descends from Bradley.s daughter Mildred b 9 Nov. 1924. Bradley died when he was 55 in Lynch, Harlan Co. Any tips or assistance you can give is appreciated.
