Does anyone have any information they would share on the following family ?
Mary Ann Woody was my g grandfather's much loved sister.
1.4.2.1.1.4.2.4.3., Mary Ann, Woody, B 7-11-1836, D 12-3-1872 soon after her second child was born, Father Robert Woody Mother Frances E. Hargrove, Married; Elia Branson B 10-19-1827 D 8-19-1893 the son of Thomas Branson and Mary Lewallen. Married 3-14-18??. Both Mary Ann and Eli are buried at the Cane Creek MM cemetery near Snow Camp, Alamance Co. NC., Lived; Snowcamp, N.C. to Georgia, Ancestral Line; Robert/Hugh/James/JohnIII/(not proven)JohnII /JohnI/Isaac/Richard I, Woody, An original letter from Mary Ann to her bother in Montana written during the start of the Civil War exists. Mary & Elia had 2 children; William & Flora.
