RIVERVIEW, Fla. - Phyllis Edna Branson, 84, of Riverview, formerly of White Hall and Paxton, died Saturday, Oct. 28, 2006, at Brandon (Fla.) Regional Medical Center.
She was born Dec. 24, 1921, in Wood River, the daughter of Lee and Nina Duggar DeShasier. She married James Branson in 1942 in White Hall; he died in 1996.
Mrs. Branson was a member of Order of the Eastern Star in Paxton and involved with the Senior Friends Organization in Brandon.
Survivors: daughter, Julia (husband, Paul) Drappo of Riverview; son, David Branson of Gainesville, Fla.; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and brother, James "Jimmy" DeShasier of Paxton.
Graveside services: 1 p.m. Thursday, White Hall Cemetery.
Airsman-Hires Funeral Home in White Hall is in charge of arrangements.
