I am researching the Bransfield/Barry family connection. James Barry and wife Rose or Mary Bransfield both born 1810 came to the US from Ireland--probably landed in Mass or CT. Perhaps there is a chance that our 2 Bransfields are connected? The Barry's were known to be in Mass and Hartford, Ct. But by 1855 or so, they moved to Lebanon, PA.
