Sharon

This is exactly my line!!!!

My uncle Andy (Theodore's Andrew Branscums's son), who is Theodore Andrew Jr., told me my son was the fifth generation Andrew. We didn't know much about Theodore Andrew's background because he died when my mom and my uncle Andy were very young. I have been told Theodore Sr. moved to California during the dust bowl days, sort of like the Grapes of Wrath.

My Uncle's daughter knew that his grandmother was named Matilda. This all fits!!!!

Tell me more!

I have learned from Fred Tubbs about Richard Branscum from Virgiia (circa 1700's), then his descendants moved west to KY and Arkansas.

I have found out that there are some Branscombes from Cornwall county England. This is near Devon County, where there is a town called Branscombe.

Mr. Tubbs thought that William's middle name was Albert, not Andrew. But I do believe it was Andrew.

Thanks for the reply and am anxious to learn more.
