For All Branscomb-Branscum-Branscome Researchers
We are in the process of starting a Branscomb DNA project. To participate in this project you must be a male with the last name of Branscomb or the various other spellings for this name. The DNA they test is in the Y-Chromosome and is passed down from father to son. If you are not a male with the last name of Branscomb but would like to learn how your family fits in with the other Branscombs you can ask a brother, father, cousin, uncle, or grandfather to take this test for you. If your Branscomb ancestry is several generations back you my be able to find another descendant of your Branscomb ancestor who would be willing and able to take the test for you. These tests will tell us if we have a common ancestor and how many generations back that common ancestor is. If you would like to learn more about Family Tree DNA you can email me direct and I will send you a link that will tell you all you want to know. As a group we will get a substantial discount on each test that is ordered. If you are interested or have any questions regarding this project you can email me direct or reply to this message. My email address is [email protected]
