Thank you so much for responding to my posting. I did, however, tell you wrong about my descendancy. My family came from Francis Marion Greenlee, Haseltine's sister. Sorry. Anyway I am still researching Haseltine and J. H. Brannon's son that was a physician. Do you have his name?
Is he the only child they had?? Actually, Francis Marion Greenlee was my gg-grandmother. You say J.H. married a widow Bays the second tome?? Was this Haseltine? do you happen to know who she was married to before J.H.?? This Ramson Bays and wife Lousinda Clark Davis were my g-randparents. Form Mississippi they went to Ashley County Arkansas. Ransom Bays was the son of Henry Bays and Francis Marion Greenlee.
Henry Bays and Hasletine Eliza Greenlee had 5 childen. they were:
1. Erastus Dewitt Bays b. 1857 Ashley Co. Arkansas. Married:
Martha J. Unknonw
2. Leone/Leona Bays b. 1859 Ashley Co. Arkansas
3. John Frank Bays b. 1861 Ashley Co. Arkansas. Married: Josephine Ramsey Blackwell
4. Amanda Bays b. 1866 Ashley Co. Arkansas
5. Adia Bays b. 1869 Ashley Co. Arkansas
