Regarding the New Hampshire part, Brann/Brans lived and paid taxes in Bloody Point, New Hampshire in the 1640's. From one year to the next, tax collectors spelled names differently.

I searched and searched for Bloody Point but could never find it on the map until one day I stopped in Kittery, Maine at the public library. I asked if they had some very old maps and found Bloody Point! It became part of Pease Air Force Base. Some of them exchanged land in Bloody Point for land on Sturgeon Creek, in Berwick Maine. I took a couple of pictures at Sturgeon Creek.
