thank you for your response. the james i have did marry maria and was the son of james and dorcas quint. i have james sr. as being born about 1782 and his marriage date to dorcas may 12, 1809. what do you have verifying these dates. i have james sr dying march 31, 1867. as i said i am somewhat uncomfortable with the dates i have. will have to go to augusta to verify. i also show james jr. as marrying a nancy a. (webber) dow in 1868. and having 3 children, olive, wallace and louis.
