My name is Kathy. I am actually researching the Napiers/Nappers, who intermarried early on with the Branhams and others. Louisa County from 1700's on has a lot of Branhams.
Have you looked in Louisa County Census Records at all? Also, look in Parish Records for both Louisa, Albemarle, and Fluvanna Counties.Have you heard the name: Nathanial Branham?
As to your Pinkard- this is a name connected to the Napper/Napiers in Louisa also. There was a Pinkard Napier and his family living in Louisa County, VA in middle 1800's. Also, the Napiers moved close to a Pinkard Family, I think in Giles County or Montgomery but I'll have to look that up.
