The will of Richard Branham (dated 4 April 1728; proved 1 May 1728) is very short and almost half of the will consisted of the formulaic portion (remanding his soul to God, request for a decent burial, payment of debts, etc.). The legatees named were his sons Richard and John BRAMHAM and his wife Ann (his executrix). Witnesses Edward and Elizabeth Gill were obviously neighbors of the Branhams, because they appear in several records with Richard Branham. However, there is no indication that they were related to Richard by blood (perhaps there might have been a connection through his wife). Since Elizabeth Branham, daughter of John Branham, wasn't born until 1730, she could not have witnessed a document in 1728.
FYI, you stated in the NOTES for John Branham (1690-1761) in your online database at

================
Will dated 21 July 1761 -- refers to self as "John Branham Senr." -- states he is "son of Richard Branham and his wife, Ann Branham" -- refers to his "well beloved wife, Rachen Branham" -- executors wife and "sons" Daniel and Gaydon (Orange Co., VA Will Book 2, pp 315-316)

I don't know where this misconception came from, but John Branham (1690-1761) did not state anything about his parents in his will.
