Marsha, My sister and I are doing some similar research but the thrust of this goes in a different direction.My mother was a Bupp from York Co PA, her father's origin is PROBABLY York or Dauphin county.He was born about 1865..His mother is listed in all of our records as Amanda Baish (one place, Bash)Other than a approx 1830 birth date we have nothing else.She was married to a John Valentine Bupp.
There is a family of Baish's near Boiling Springs, at least 2 daughters I went to college with, if you wish to get info, E-mail me as I may not get back here to respond here for weeks.
I have extensive informaiton on Brandts in the Carlisle PA (cumberland co) area.I have my files in FTM, canconvert to GED, if you are willing to swap, fine.
