Hi Jennifer -- I did get the message!
So you're a direct female descendant of Abigail's? That's interesting, and valuable.
Or is it? I'm still learning about genetics, and I've done the 23andMe "personal genome" testing, and I don't yet have a handle on it all. BUT ... I assume that since the mother's mtDNA is handed down to all of her children (her daughters then handing it along to the next generation), if you're a female descendant of Abigail's then you've received your mtDNA from her and from thousands of years of women before her in her line. (Even if there was hanky-panky somewhere along that line, such that a father can't be verified, the woman is either pregnant with the child or not ... so, I'd think the mtDNA must be pretty reliable).
Seems like it's worth a try, and of course it would be interesting at any rate. I say go for it and I hope you share your results. Best wishes!
