I am looking for any information on Christoph Friedrich Brandt and his wife Dorette (Dora) Holtermann.
Christoph Friedrich Bandt, son of Johann Heinrich/Hinrich Brandt and Dorothea Scharnhusen, was born on 7 April 1873 in Langwedel, Germany. On 7 December 1889 he left Germany for America. He was likely a passenger aboard the ship, Fulda, travelling from Bremen to Southampton to Castle Garden. According to the records, he arrived at Castle Garden on 4 January 1890 at the age of 16.
21 December 1893 he married Dorette (Dora) Holtermann of Bederkesa, Germany, who had also arrived at Castle Garden sometime in 1890, presumably after January or February. It is not clear whether she was accompanied or followed by any family members. At least one sister might have immigrated to the US as well. Dora Holtermann was one of eight children:

Christoph and Dorette Brandt's children:
- Margaret Dorothy b. 30 Sept 1894 - married henry Medosch / Hans Hoyer
- Marie Hermine Christine b. 4 July 1896 - married Walter J. Mackenzie
- Christoph Frederick, Jr. b. 17 May 1901 - 20 Aug 1901
- Christine Henriette b. 23 December 1906 - married Pierre de Reynier
Little is known about the whereabouts of Christoph Brandt before and directly after his marriage to Dora Holtermann. Sometime in 1919, however, Christoph and Dora moved to 71 Centre Street in Freeport, NY (Long Island) next to their daughter Marie and her husband Walter J. Mackenzie (my great grandfather).
