I knew it! I have long suspected that James and Thomas Brandon were from this family. Washington County, Arkansas families from the 1830's tied to this family are: William and Mary Brandon Skelton, John Peter and Elizabeth Brandon Lindley, Martin and Linnea Frances Brandon Cornelison, Spencer Forby and Jane Brandon Fine, and, I believe, John and Elizabeth Brixey Brandon.
I can't wait to read more!
