Thanks for straightening me out. I still think we are probably interested in the same BRANDON family.
I looked for the Hallam family in Portland, Oregon, the BRANDON-connected cousins that Bess Hogan visited in 1914. I googled "brandon hallam portland oregon," and the first hit was the obituary of Bertha BRANDON Hallam.
What became of the Finnegan kids living with George and Susan BRANDON in Nashville in 1880? Who were their parents? Was there another Finnegan-BRANDON marriage in addition to George BRANDON and Susan Finnegan? What became of William R. Finnegan, Jr., b. abt 1835 in Ireland, living with his father in Nashville in 1860?
