Hello C.E.:
I have tried three times to e-mail you, and they go from here, but the first two show they were "undelivered". I cannot figure the problem, but will, re-write it on Genforum.
I've checked my files; all of the male descendants of William Warren Brand, and did not find that I have your name listed anywhere. So, I do not yet know your lineage. My Brother's Keeper genealogy program says that I and William Warren Brand Sr., are "first cousins, five times removed"; not far-related, just by several generations in time!
Also, followed back the Genforum message of mine that you answered; and others back to Ricky (?); and have posted an answer to his post. I found Edwardstone, Suffolk on the map of England; probably that is the same as the Edwardston, Suffolk you mentioned. Ricky seems to descend from those same English Brands too. We shall see what happens!
To date, I have not heard from Ricky. Nor gotten notification of an answer to my Genforum post. But, in the meantime, I have been corresponding with Tina Brand Norris, who also descends from William Warren Brand, Sr.; on down from his son, Jonas Thomas Brand and his wife Sallie Goodman. I did have Jonas in my files, but no descendants from him, so am happy to find another line to add to my "collection" of Brand relatives. Have you known of Tina? I shall anticipate hearing from you again.
