Thanks for the reply. I know I am grasping for straws. I do not know Samuel BRAND's father/mother. All I know is that he was supposedly born in NJ in 1803-1810 and married a Julia Ann ORBORN??, b. 1815-1817, in PA. I picked them up in the 1850 (44th District) and 1860 (1st Ward in Wheeling) census for Ohio Co, WV (originally VA at the time of the census). I don't know if this helps any or not.
