I am seeking information on the parents and any descendants of the first
husband of my great grandmother, M. Dorothea (Friese) Brand Kukuck
FIRST GENERATION
1. Henry Brand was born in 1822 in Idensen, Hannover, Germany. He died in
Aug 1852 in Limestone Twp., Kankakee Co., IL. He was buried in Schleffler
Cemetery, Kanakeee Co., IL.
He was married to M. Dorothea Friese (daughter of Dedrick Friese and
Dorothea Senne) about 1843 in Hannover, Germany. M. Dorothea Friese was
born on 27 Sep 1825 in Hannover, Germany. She immigrated about 1849 to
United States. She married (2) Ernest Christoph Kukuck (1822-1894). She
died on 13 Nov 1891 in Limestone Twp., Kankakee Co., IL. She was buried in
Schreffler Cemetery, Kanakeee Co., IL. Henry Brand and M. Dorothea Friese
had the following children:

4 iii. Dorothea C. Brand was born about 1850 in Hannover, Germany. She

SECOND GENERATION
2. Henry Paul Brand was born on 10 Feb 1847 in Hannover, Germany. He died
on 16 Mar 1933 in Oak Park, Cook Co., IL. He was buried in Forest Home
Cem., Forest Park, IL.
He was married to Eva Rosina Mary Walker (daughter of Louis J. Walker and
Eva Rosina Walter) about 1868. Eva Rosina Mary Walker was born on 2 Jan
1851 in New York, NY. She died on 10 Mar 1921. She was buried in Forest
Home Cem., Forest Park, IL. Henry Paul Brand and Eva Rosina Mary Walker
had the following children:

3. Sophia C. Brand was born on 28 Aug 1849 in Hannover, Germany. She

She was married to John Dietrich Zahn on 27 Mar 1869. John Dietrich Zahn
