I am trying to find a Zachary Brand that lived in St Clair County, Alabama in 1929-30. He was married to a Bessie Fondren and they had one child, a daughter (my Mom), named Jennie Lou Brand. Due to unknown circumstances, my Mom never got to meet her Dad. I am trying to find out if he is still living and, if so, where I might be able to find him. My Mom would really like to know what happened to him and so would I. If anyone out there has any information of any kind that might be even remotely connected, I would greatly appreciate hearing from you. Let me thank you in advance for any help you can give.
