Sherri, Thanks for responding. I bought these 2 large framed gorgeous portraits (on internet auction), for the purpose of decorating my Historic B&B. The owner felt they were by a well known Early American portrait artist named Myra Brand. They are signed "Brand". I will have to check if they came from Ohio. I believe they may have. Yes, they are in shades of black, white & gray & very well executed.
What do you know about the possible artist or where I can get information? Thanks, Debby <stonsoup@shentel.net>
