This has to be the same one! I have W. Harrison Brand being born on April 9, 1812 and dying March 13, 1871. I was unsure about his dad's family as all I knew was James Brand who was a wheelwright. There is a James (farmer-age63) in Monongalia census of 1850 whose wife was Sarah. Harrison was listed in Preston Co. in 1850 age 38. His daughter, Mary Ann, is my ggrandmother. Let me hear more.I know Brand book is from 1925.
