Thanks for the follow-up info on Hezekiah Brand. What you have is pretty close to mine. And you saw the postings by Kristina Knowles as well. However, there are some issues I can't seem to resolve. I have Hezekiah and Sarah's children as: Samuel Gibson (my great grandfather), Eugenia Mae (my great grandmother), John H., Benjamin H., David, India L., Mamie, and Tat. Maybe Sarah Elizabeth and Mary L. are Tat and Mamie, I don't know. And there is no Eugenia Mae anywhere; but as a child I knew Samuel and Eugenia and they were brother and sister according to the family.
And you saw Kristina's obituary about J.E. Brand and Sarah Doster. That doesn't add up either unless it was really Nancy Doster instead of Sarah and there was some mistakes in the obituary, which is quite possible. J.E. could be John, who knows ?
Do you know Hezekiah's wife Sarah's maiden name ?
Hopefully we can keep trying until we find them all. Thanks again for your help, it does fill in some blanks.
