I just received some info on my dad, Eugene Brammer. Things I never knew. Strange to be a daughter of someone and not know him or my siblings. Can you help me find info on his 2 daughters in Tacoma, WA and their mother? Also, on the step-children in Qunicy, IL and grandchildren? I do know his wife in Quincy was a Kate Berry. Believe it or not, I didn't even know about his Army life, I was always told he received a dishonorable discharge from the Army, Have to wonder, was that true???? I would REALLY appreciate you help. Here is the info on Eugene (my dad)

Kankakee Daily Journal - Thurs., Feb. 21, 1980

Services for Eugene H. Brammer, 58, a former resident of Kankakee, were held Monday at the All Faiths Chapel, at the Veterans Home, Quincy. Mr. Brammer died suddenly Feb. 16 of an apparent heart attack.
He was born May 1, 1921 in Kankakee to Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Brammer. He was a veteran of 20 years service with the Army.
He served overseas for seven years and was on duty in the Berlin Airlift. He was awarded the World War 11 victory medal.
Survivors include his mother, Mabel Brammer, also a resident of the Veterans Home, Quincy: two daughters in Takoma, Wash,: four step-daughters in Quincy and three grandchildren.
Also surviving are several aunts, uncles and cousins in the Kankakee area.
Burial was in Sunset Cemetery, Quincy.

Thanks - Gena
