Simeon BRAMLETTE was b. ca 1829 in Breckinridge Co. KY. He married Sarah "Sallie" GALLAWAY ca 1859 and they reared a family of 12 children - 7 sons and 5 daughters - most of them born in and near Breckinridge, Grayson and Hardin counties of Kentucky - but only 11 reached maturity. In the early 1880's, the family moved to Vernon Co. Missouri where Sarah died not far from Rich Hill. Several members of the family then moved on to Cherokee Co. KS where Simeon d. ca 1913. Known members of this family are:
1) Clarence Eugene BRAMLETTE (1860-1938). Married Margaret BURRIS 1886 in Bates Co. MO and had children: Ruth, Cora & Nora. Was living in Fort Benton, Montana ca 1930.
2) Belle BRAMLETTE (ca 1861 - aft 1930). Was married and living in Fresno, California ca 1930.
3) John M. BRAMLETTE (ca 1863 - aft 1930). Married Mary Louise (unknown) and had children John M. and Harold. Was living in Lincoln, Nebraska ca 1930.
4) William BRAMLETTE (ca 1864 - aft 1930). Married Maude (unknown) and had children Minnie, Faye, Thomas and William. Was living in Kansas City, Missouri ca 1930.
5) Thomas Elliott BRAMLETTE (1866 - 1948). Married Minnie REDDEN 1889 in Missouri and had children Fern, Carl, Farley, Cecil, Guy, Donald and Glen. Family settled in Chouteau Co. Montana.
6) Frances BRAMLETTE (ca 1870 - aft 1930). Married (unknown) WALLER and was living in Great Falls, Montana circa 1930.
7) Simeon Alvah "Sim" BRAMLETTE (1875 - 1957) - twin. Married Daisy Pearl FERRELL 1896, Bates Co. Missouri and were parents to the following children: Merle, Joseph, John M., Madge, Mona, Sim, Arlyne and Betty. Was living in Fort Smith, Arkansas ca 1930.
8) Harriet BRAMLETTE (1875 - aft 1880) - twin.
9) James Moss BRAMLETTE (1877 - aft 1930). Married Susan (unknown) and had children Gladys, Lorena, Thelma, Hazel and Louella. Was living in West Mineral, Kansas ca 1930.
10) Charles Godby BRAMLETTE (1879 - aft 1930). Married Hattie Lorena HANCHETT and had daughters Dorothea and Maxine. Was living in Columbus, Kansas ca 1930.
11) Kathryn BRAMLETTE (ca 1886 - aft 1930). Married William MORRISON. Was living in Whitefish, Montana ca 1930.
