I have been helping a friend try to find his Bramblett family. We believe we have found them on the 1900 Census in Lamar County, Texas as J. E. Bramlette (James Edward) and J. F. Bramlette. They had 4 sons living with them. Melvin, my friends father, John, Joel, Frank and the wife's children by an earlier marriage, Otie and Ula. We don't know who J. F. may be.
We do know James Edward was on the 1930 Census in Potter County, Texas as James E. Bramblett and his wife Tullette. Her maiden name was supposed to be Green. They were from Georgia. Perhaps there is a connection. In 1930 they were living with their daughter and son-in-law's family, Archie Jones and Pashia Bramblett Jones. I can be reached at dgdenton@texoma.net
