Jonas James Branblett was my gggf. Joined 5th regiment of KY Cavalry CO B in 1862. About a year later joined Confederate army. Was captured and was a POW in Camp Douglas in Chicago. Released 2/3/64 and on 3/3/64 took oath of allegiance to US. He died in 1905.
