I post here after I e-mail you directly and you don't reply. However, this will be my last reply because it seems to be a waste of time trying to get you to provide any evidence that "Bramletts are Barnums for real!!"

As I mentioned above, I have been to and see no mention of any variation of the Bramblett/Bramlett surname or even anything close.

I will leave with the questions I have asked a couple of times that you haven't answered:

Where is the connection between Bramlett and Barnum?? Are you saying that your ancestor Bethuel Barnum/Bramlett/Bramel was a Bramlett who changed his name to Barnum?? Or are you saying that Bramletts changed their name from Barnum "way back"??

How are Barnum's connected to William Bramlett/Bramlitt who was in Essex County, VA by 1716??

As I have said, if you are afraid that someone may pick up some secret and write a book about it if you post it here, just send it to me privately and I will not post it anywhere. I am simply trying to find out if there is any real connection between our families.
